Niche Waterproofing is a construction restoration company specializing in waterproofing, roof repair & replacement, facade repair & replacement, sidewalk and parking garage restoration, and suspended scaffold leasing, installation & removal. We serve residential, multifamily, commercial, retail and industrial buildings throughout New York City, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland County, New Jersey & Connecticut.

What sets us apart is scale with self-performance: our own masons, roofers, concrete crews, waterproofers and rope-access technicians — not layers of subcontractors. That's how we've run 24 suspended scaffolds simultaneously across a 21-building campus, replaced a 28,000 SF roof in under three months, and taken a DOB vacate order to rescission in 48 hours.

Problem

DOB vacate order on the parking garage — structural deficiency under an active ramp.

Response

In-house PM/expeditor mobilized. Shoring & structural plans expedited. New load-bearing frame erected under the ramp in 24 hours. Ramp section replaced overnight with fast-cure materials.

Result

Vacate order rescinded within 48 hours. Garage downtime: 8 hours total. All special inspections coordinated to client, DOB & occupant satisfaction.
